How to Find Us

The Nottingham Child Contact Centre meets in the halls of St. Andrews with Castle Gate United Reformed Church, Goldsmith Street, Nottingham NG1 5JT.  The entrance to the halls is from the car park, which is entered from Chaucer Street (a turning left off Goldsmith Street if walking north along Goldsmith Street from the Royal Centre, following the tram lines).  If you can't find us, or are delayed, when coming on a Saturday then please call 0115 947 4954 or 0758 329 8532.

Walking

From the city centre, follow the tram route north up Market Street and pass the Theatre Royal on your right (120m approx.). Cross Talbot Street and continue in the same direction, still following the tram way, along Goldsmith Street for about 150m to the church. Turn left into Chaucer Street and the entrance to the Contact Centre is on the left side of the car park.

By Bus

The nearest bus stops are G1 and G2 on South Sherwood Street, YG on Talbot Street and Y5 on Wollaton Street.  The two main operators are Nottingham City Transport and Trent Barton.

By tram

There is easy access to the Centre using the tram. The nearest tram stop is Nottingham Trent University.

By Car

The Church has a car park on Chaucer Street. You can only use this for the duration of your visit. If coming by car, it is best to come down Chaucer Street from Clarendon Street and turn right into the car park.  The entrance to the car park is close to the bottom of Chaucer Street on the right as you drive down the hill. When leaving, please be warned that you cannot turn left out of Chaucer Street into Goldsmith Street, because of a restriction for the tram (there is an enforcement camera).

*** Please note that we have been told in March, 2016, of sewer replacement works that will close some roads in the area, with consequent diversions.  We have no further details of these, or the timing of any closures, but will post further details if or when we hear them.
